This interactive workshop provides clinicians and therapists with fundamental skills and knowledge to support adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The focus of the workshop is addressing intimacy related challenges in adulthood.
This workshop will support the participants to:

Explore their feelings, attitudes, values, and beliefs regarding human sexuality and sexual behaviour

Understand how therapist’s values and attitudes toward sexuality affects the therapeutic relationship and the process of therapy
- Learn techniques to foster an environment of safety of clients to discuss sexuality related issues
- Learn strategies to support clients, who have experienced sexual trauma in childhood, experience fulfilling sexual relationships
